(This historic lodge is located 30 miles north of Truckee in beautiful Sierra Valley.)

Lookout Tours -- Choices from following

1. Long day to Tahoe NF lookouts - Babbitt Peak, Calpine, Sardine Peak, Mills Peak, and Sierra
Buttes (take lunch for all day)

2. Short day to Calpine or Sardine Peak then to the Big Bend Visitor Center (Personalized tour of the museum and interpretive display of Red Mtn, the first fire lookout in California)

3. Long day to Plumas NF lookouts (good for those heading north)

4. Long day to Eldorado NF lookouts (good for those heading south)

5. Short to moderate day to Angora Lookout (good for those wanting to go to S. Lake Tahoe)

Note: Sign up for tours on Friday and Saturday during the conference at the Veteran's Hall. We will most likely be meeting at the Truckee Forest Service Ranger Station on Sunday morning to begin the tours.
