Notes

  • Memorial tower built in 1934 said to be intended for fire detection. Used for emergency, it was overlooked by the stations on Crotched, Monadnock and Kearsarge (South)
  • The photo may or may not be the tower that was used for detection.
  • On the summit, a concrete base or step exists with a date on it which is not readable. It is speculated that what may have happened was that the people on the forest may have reused all or some of the steel on the "original" structure to make the current version.
