Notes

  • 1912 -1981, standing. NHLR: NH 04 US 210 in 1997
  • Considered temporary 1912-c. 1915; reestablished 1939 with New England Forest Emergency funds. The tower was engineered by International Derrick Co. described as 41' tall. In 1973 a new tower cab was built above the original, raising the height about 10'. It was closed in 1981, due to state budget constraints.
With support from the local community it was protected and placed on the NHLR in 1997.
  • The tower is opened and staffed by an interpretive volunteer twice a year in October.
