Notes

  • 1911, temporary.
  • It is described as an "Horatian Tower" 35 ' tall, built after 1890. This was one of the early stations, placed in service because it overlooked a wide area.
  • The temporary station was only in service for a very short time.
  • The Octagon Reservoir seems to have been on the east side of Keene and was a prominent viewpoint. It is suspected that the ornamental structure was the lookout station.
