Notes

  • This is currently an active state tower.
  • The original tower was erected on 10,000 square feet of land that was purchased for $100.
  • The original tower cost was $2000, with $150 contributed by the town of wellfleet, and $100 each from the towns of Eastham, Truro, and Orleans
  • In 1945, a powerline was constructed to the tower and two-way radios were installed
  • In 1960, a new 68 FT tower (current one) was installed replacing the old Iron tower
  • In 2001, this tower received a new cab
