Notes

  • This is currently an active state tower
  • This tower sits on state property
  • A two mile phone line was constructed to this site.
  • A new power and two-way radios were installed in 1938
  • A new tower was built in 1966.
  • Guy wires were added in 1970
  • In 1990, the tower cab was destroyed and tower steel damaged by an adjacent radio tower being vandalized and toppling onto the Fire Tower.
  • The tower was repaired and put back into service in 1993
