Eastern FFLA Summer Conference will be held June 11th, 12th and 13th, 2010.

Friday evening Directors Meeting at Geneva Point Center in the Meeting Hall in one of the smaller rooms. Time is 7 PM
Saturday: Conference starts at 9:00A. Registration etc 8:30-9:00 Geneva Point Center Meeting Hall
Sunday will be tower touring as individuals and/or groups. No activities at Geneva Point.
Program
Program for the day and perhaps into Saturday evening is still under development and will be up to the day of the conference. Some highlights -
Iris Baird will speak in the morning on the Weeks Act (100th Anniversary in 2011)
Report on current status of New Hampshire lookout tower system and fire activity to date.
Ed Maheux on history, current status, and rehabilitation work at Red Hill tower.

Directions
Geneva Point Center is located in Moultonborough, NH off the Moultonborough Neck Road.
From the traffic lights in Center Harbor, NH, follow NH Route 25, 1.7 miles east. Turn Right at the traffic signal/light onto Moultonborough Neck Road. After 5.7 miles turn Left onto Winaukee Road and follow signs to the Center.
Lodging & Camping On-Site
Lodging is available at Geneva Point. All reservations for lodging and meals at Geneva Point MUST be made through me BEFORE June 1st. Heated room with two twin beds and double bunk bed is $90 per night flat rate. Room has shower, sink and toilet. Linens provided. There are one room cabins available which hold 6 to 7 people and cost $80 or $90 per night (flat rate.) Cold water sink and toilet. No heat or shower. Extra charge for linens. Tent camping is $25 for up to 4 people on one site. Bathroom/shower house nearby.
Meals at Geneva Point: Buffet Style- all you can eat until the food runs out
Breakfast: $6 7:45-9 AM
Lunch $9 11:45AM- 1 PM
Supper $14 5:30 PM- 6:30 PM
Off Site Lodging and Camping
Nearest motel is Rodeway Inn of Moultonborough at the junction of NH Route 25 and Moultonborough Neck Road. Rodeway address: 340 Whittier Highway (NH Route 25) Phone 603-253-4314. Should be possible to make reservations through the national Rodeway web site or 800 phone number.

Berry Pond Motel 1040 Whittier Highway (NH Rt 25) in Moultonborough across from the fire station and just west of the junction of Routes 25 and 109.

Campgrounds:
Long Island Bridge Campground is very close to Winaukee Road and the conference site. For info see the Meredith Chamber of Commerce website.
Pine Woods Campground is 3.7 miles from NH Route 25 on Moultonborough Neck Road and is 2 miles from Winaukee Road. There is a sign for this campground on Moultonborough Neck Road and access is a short road called Barrett Pl. For reservations or information please call 603-253-6251. Not listed in the Chamber web site.
