Please come and join us Saturday August 14th and Sunday the 15th at the Washington County Outdoor School in Clear Springs, MD. Be a part of the Fellowship of Lookout enthusiasts during our Eastern Regional gathering.

Tour the Environmental learning center, climb the Fire tower at the center! See the lookout displays, Stop, Look and Listen to the histories of Fire lookouts across our world, Talk to active lookout observers and Learn what an invaluable part fire towers played and still play in the protection of our homes and natural resources! Come tour the local Fire towers with us! There will even be Fire Lookout related items for sale.

Marty Podskoch A well known author of Fire tower books about the fire towers in New York state will be there selling his books and will be happy to sign them for everyone as well. Plan on spending some extra time exploring the area's Civil War Histories. With the Antietam National Battlefield and Harpers Ferry less than one hours drive away and the Gettysburg National Battlefield less than two hours drive away. Take a stroll along the banks of the Famous Potomac River at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park. Relive History and make some of your own
