FFLA EASTERN SUMMER CONFERENCE

Fox State Forest, Hillsborough, New Hampshire

The FFLA eastern summer meeting will be held at New Hampshire's Fox State Forest, near Hillsborough, about 25 miles west of Concord. Friday afternoon will see setup of displays, followed by dinner at a location to be chosen. A Board of Directors meeting will close out the day. Saturday's tentative agenda includes a short general session, presentation of NHLR certificates (thirteen New Hampshire fire towers have just been listed!), viewing of displays and visiting. An evening program is planned. An on-site barbecue is also being considered. With all except one of the state towers open to the public, Sunday tour opportunities abound; the privately owned Craney Hill tower nearby may also be available.

It is strongly suggested that you call Chris Haartz regarding campgrounds and lodging opportunities. Chris Haartz can be reached at (603-726-3112). Contact Chris if you would like display space at the site.
