Accomplishments since last update

Tower Page Expansion
We have continued to spend considerable time tracking down and compiling as many State Tower/Lookout lists as possible. Additional States added in 2006 -

o Alabama (Full List)
o Arizona
o Maine
o Maryland
o New Hampshire
o New Jersey
o New Mexico
o Tennessee
o West Virginia

Response continues to be favorable to the list effort. I thank those directors and members that have spent much time assisting me in compiling this data. I would ask your continued cooperation and input on this effort. Our goal is to have every state represented on the web site as soon as possible.

Other Site Details
o Web Site hits steady, up about 7% from last year
o We located many archives back to 1992 which we will work on posting in 2007
o "Face Lift" for the Website did not happen in 2006 either. Tenatively fall 2007 would be the target
o Proposal for online advertising was not accepted by the chapter leadership

Challenges
o We continue to notice that there is less than stellar interest in sending updates for the Web Site. There is an incredible amount of chapter activities going on and we are only capturing a small amount of it on the web site. The web site is a powerful tool for FFLA awareness that we are missing out on. I would ask that we all try a little harder to provide updates for the Website in 2007.

Web Site Future Plans
o Continue to work aggressively on populating the Tower Page
o Add more archives and post an "FFLA Chronology" section
o Assess the possibility of a new "Face Lift" in fall 2007
