The majority of my personal efforts this past year were focused on the Western Regional Conference. The conference in Truckee, CA involved about 100 attendees from U.S. Forest Service, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, FFLA members, and local public. We raised over $1000 to fund the next conference in McCall, Idaho and restoration projects. No. CA and Central CA membership increased during the conference. The 100 conference T shirts and sweatshirts are continuing to sell with only very large sizes or small remaining. The chapter has current membership of 47 up 5 over this year and a current balance of $617.76. I will be submitting a deposit to Gary for shirts of $133. I am out of brochures and metal signs to go with the registry certificates. Many thanks go out to the members who attended the conference and to Kathy for all the help from the Central CA Chapter in organizing this event. An additional thanks goes to Howard for supplying the No. CA lookouts and ranger stations with brochures and metal signs on his way to/from the conference.
