Lookout related information:
-Mark Gutzman, Assistant Forest Archaeologist, Lincoln National Forest, has taken up the vacant Chapter Director position.

-Conducted research and visited the Carrisa Lookout on the Sacramento Ranger District of the Lincoln National Forest. This lookout and its associated buildings have been restored and will soon be offered as a recreation rental. Guests will be able to access the lookout cab.

-Nominated the Carrisa Lookout to the NHLR.

Goals for 2011:

-Complete NHLR nominations for the remaining Lincoln National Forest lookouts.

-All the Lincoln lookouts were nominated to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. Will research the status of those nominations

-Coordinate with Dave Lorenz, FFLA Director in Arizona to possibly host the 2013 Western FFLA conference here in New Mexico (possibly Cloudcroft).
