Activities:

· The Maryland chapter worked this year on increasing membership by attending County Forestry Board meetings. At the meetings, briefed the purpose of the organization and handed out information packets with membership form.

· Coordinated with the Maryland DNR State Fire Coordinator and provided assistance to the Maryland DNR with their Forest Fire Tower Inventory. (Found one fire tower not on the DNR list.)

· Contacted all known members of the Maryland chapter.
