Lookout related information:

-Provided information on fire lookout trees and tree towers to Robert Audretsch, author SHAPING THE PARK AND SAVING THE BOYS. The Civilian Conservation Corps at Grand Canyon, 1933-1942.

-Conducted research and visited all the Tonto fire lookouts and the remote lookouts on the Coconino and Kiabab National Forest.

-Participated in the joint fire lookout training session from the Coconino, Kaibab and Prescott National Forest.

Goals for 2011:

-Complete NHLR nominations for the remaining three Arizona lookouts.

-Coordinate with Mark Gutzman, Assistant Archaeologist on the Lincoln NF to possible host the 2013 Western FFLA conference.

-Assist the Coconino, Kaibab and Prescott NF in training fire lookouts
