In conjunction with the 100 year Celebration of the Forest Service presentations were conducted on Fire Lookout Towers of the Southwest. A total of 5 presentations were conducted in May - August 2005.

FFLA goals for 2006:

-Increase membership.
-Conduct presentations for the Gila and Lincoln NF.
-Attend the Western FFLA is possible.
-Support LO restoration on Atascosa LO
-Support LO rental programs for Hyde Mtn and Lee Butte.
-Revisit 20-30 fire lookouts.

In addition to the above 6 lookouts on the Coconino and 4 on the Cibola have been placed upon hold until the backlog is reduced.

Complete all the above and continue to nominate remaining lookouts in both AZ and NM.
