This site appears to have been a very primitive lookout station. It may have consisted of simply a platform or small shelter or even less. There is little debris left at the site to really identify what type of lookout it was other than thin bits of wood, wire and nails. There is a 1914 photo taken from this location that mentions the lookout but gives no idea as to the type.
