There were twenty-three visible in the group photo taken at the McClellanville fire tower, the turn-out of FFLA folks was small but the appreciation of the local populace was a hearty welcome.  Supper was at a local Shoney’s restaurant in Georgetown where a small business meeting was also held. Chairman Isenberg appointed Keith Goodrich as acting Maine director and Shirley Goodrich as elected Treasurer; Mark Haughwout of Vermont was elected Eastern Deputy Chairperson and Henry was re-elected Chairman.  Central mailing issues were discussed and it was agreed that “dues” as of January 1st will go directly to the elected Treasurer, taking this out of the overworked hands of State directors and stream-lining a much needed business structure.
